Clarkson initially revealed the title and release date of \"Mine,\" off her new album \"Chemistry,\" earlier this week on Instagram.
In that post, she shared video footage of herself singing a verse from the song to amp up fans.
\"Someone's gonna show you / how a heart can be used / like you did mine,\" the original \"American Idol\" winner and talk show host sings in the clip.
On Thursday, the original \"American Idol\" winner also shared another snippet from a song called \"Me,\" also from \"Chemistry.\"
\"I don't need somebody to hold me / don't need somebody to love me / don't need somebody to pick these pieces up / I put together my broken / let go of the pain I've been holdin' / don't need to need somebody / when I got me,\" she belts in the audio clip.
The snippets of new music come on the heels of Clarkson announcing a Las Vegas residency at Bakkt Theater -- formerly Zappos Theater -- at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in support of \"Chemistry,\" with dates in July and August.
Clarkson announced her new album last month, saying in a video posted to social media that it has been in the works for \"close to three years.\"
\"This album is definitely the arc of an entire relationship, and a whole relationship shouldn't be just brought down to one thing,\" she explained. \"So there's the good, the bad, the ugly thing kinda going on in it.\"
