In 2018, during the first Trump administration, 48% of Florida voters approved of Trump, according to VoteCast, while 51% disapproved.

Roughly 7 in 10 Florida gubernatorial voters said they were dissatisfied or angry about how things are going in the United States, according to preliminary ABC News Voter Polls.

Just about 3 out of 10 said they were satisfied or enthusiastic about how things are going.

Democratic incumbent Georgia Sen. Jon Ossoff is projected to win against Republican challenger Mike Collins.

Five Democrats have won Senate seats in states where polls have closed.

Democratic candidate Juliana Stratton defeated her Republican opponent Don Tracy in the Illinois race.

Incumbent Sens. Chris Coons of Delaware, Cory Booker of New Jersey, Ed Markey of Massachusetts and Jack Reed or Rhode Island, were all projected to be reelected.

Four Democratic governors are projected to keep their seats: Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker, Maryland Gov. Wes Moore, Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey and Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro.

Polls have closed in seven more states at 7 p.m. ET: parts of Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Virginia, Vermont, Kentucky and parts of Indiana.
