In a post on his social media platform on Sunday, President Donald Trump reinforced his administration’s commitment to mass deportations and said they will expand efforts to deport immigrants in America’s largest cities.

"In order to achieve this, we must expand efforts to detain and deport Illegal Aliens in America’s largest Cities, such as Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York, where Millions upon Millions of Illegal Aliens reside,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

“These, and other such Cities, are the core of the Democrat Power Center, where they use Illegal Aliens to expand their Voter Base, cheat in Elections, and grow the Welfare State, robbing good paying Jobs and Benefits from Hardworking American Citizens,” the president said.

In his post, the Trump ordered ICE "to do all in their power" to achieve the administration's goals of mass deportations.

"ICE Officers are herewith ordered, by notice of this TRUTH, to do all in their power to achieve the very important goal of delivering the single largest Mass Deportation Program in History," Trump wrote.

Trump continued, saying that his administration will continue to focus on "the REMIGRATION of Aliens to the places from where they came, and preventing the admission of ANYONE who undermines the domestic tranquility of the United States."

Trump said on his social media platform early Sunday that the U.S. had nothing to do with the attack on Iran Saturday night and warned of retaliation if it strikes at the U.S.

The president also urged Iran to make a deal.

“If we are attacked in any way, shape or form by Iran, the full strength and might of the U.S. Armed Forces will come down on you at levels never seen before,” Trump wrote. “However, we can easily get a deal done between Iran and Israel, and end this bloody conflict!!!”

The Department of Homeland Security confirmed to ABC News that it issued new guidance to pause most raids on farms, restaurants, and hotels, after Trump earlier this week shifted his stance on targeting undocumented workers in those industries.

"Effective today, please hold on all work site enforcement investigations/operations on agriculture (including aquaculture and meat packing plants), restaurants and operating hotels," senior ICE official Tatum King wrote in an email to leaders of the ICE department that generally carries out criminal investigations.

The email says that investigations involving "human trafficking, money laundering, drug smuggling into these industries are OK."

The new guidance was first reported by the New York Times.

"We will follow the president's direction and continue to work to get the worst of the worst criminal illegal aliens off of America's streets," DHS spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin said in a statement on ABC News.

This comes after Trump publicly acknowledged that those industries have been hurt by his deportation agenda.

President Donald Trump earned at least $620 million in income from his various personal businesses throughout 2024, according to a new financial disclosure report released on Friday.

Trump's total income includes the $57 million from the crypto firm World Liberty Financial, headed up in part by some of his children, as well as tens of millions earned from his various trademark and licensing businesses, and hundreds of millions in business income from his various properties.

According to the disclosure, Trump owns nearly 16 billion governance tokens of World Liberty Financial, though the exact value of his holdings in dollar amounts is difficult to determine.

Income from trademarks

The report shows how Trump’s various private trademark and loyalty ventures have financially benefited him. According to the disclosure report, those businesses, under CIC Ventures LLC, made Trump $11 million in 2024.

That includes:

– $3 million from his “Save America” book;
– $2.8 million from Trump Watches;
– $2.5 million from Trump sneakers and fragrances;
– $1.3 million from the Lee Greenwood "God Bless the USA" Bible;
– $1 million from Trump guitars; and
– $250,000 from the “Letters to Trump” book

Income from resorts, golf courses

The report also shows that Trump made over $50 million in “resort related revenue” in 2024 from his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, which has become a central location for Trump during his presidency and where government officials and businessmen alike have flocked to spend time with the president.

His most lucrative golf course was his Doral club, which earned him more than $110 million in 2024, the filing shows.

He made roughly $33 million from his Bedminster golf club; $28 million from his Jupiter golf club; $29 million from his golf club in West Palm Beach; and $20 million from his Virginia golf club near Washington, D.C.

Trump touted the new Trump Savings Account in the GOP megabill at a roundtable at the White House with lawmakers and top CEOs.

"The Trump Accounts, as they call it, pilot program, which will make it possible for countless American children to have a strong start in life, at no cost to the American taxpayer. Absolutely no cost. It's gonna have a huge impact," Trump said.

Should the bill become law, the government would deposit $1,000 into a tax-deferred, low-cost index fund account that will track the overall stock market for each newborn. Additional contributions can go up to $5,000 annually. When the children reach adulthood, they would be able to take out money to cover things like college or a down payment on a home.

Trump said that the account will "contribute to the lifelong success of millions of newborn babies"

"They'll be open for additional private contributions each year from family, friends, parents, employers, churches, private foundations and more. This is a pro-family initiative that will help millions of Americans harness the strength of our economy to lift up the next generation, and they'll really be getting a big jump on the life, especially if we get a little bit lucky with some of the numbers in the economy into the future," Trump added.

House Speaker Mike Johnson touted how the "transformative" policy can help American families.

"It's a bold, transformative policy that gives every eligible American child a financial head start from day one,” Johnson said. “Republicans are proud to be the party we always have been that supports life and families and prosperity and opportunity. And Trump accounts are all about setting up the next generation for success. For future Americans, this early investment could really be the game-changer.”
