'Bachelor' star Ben Higgins is engaged to girlfriend Jessica Clarke

A happily ever after is on the horizon for "Bachelor" alum Ben Higgins, who recently proposed to his sweetheart, Jessica Clarke.

Higgins, who is 31, got down on one knee Friday, and a delighted Clarke couldn't help but gush about the romantic proposal.

"I don’t remember everything you said, but I know that I said yes," she wrote in a post that featured several shots of the proposal. "I woke up in a dream today and I get to live in this dream every day from now on (eeeep)."

She later thanked her friends on her Instagram Stories for capturing the sweet moment on camera.

The two got engaged in front of a picturesque pond in Franklin, Tennessee, complete with a bouquet of yellow and pink flowers off to the side. They have been going steady since early 2019.

We were first introduced to Ben in 2015 on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season of "The Bachelorette." He went on to become the next "Bachelor" and proposed to finalist Lauren Bushnell but broke it off about a year later.
