For years, the actresses Bryce Dallas Howard and Jessica Chastain have poked fun at the fact that people sometimes get them confused.
However, their striking physical similarities have at times mixed up even those closest to them.
Chastain told the Associated Press earlier this month about a run-in she had with Howard's father, acclaimed director Ron Howard, at the Apple Store, when he mistook her for his own daughter.
"I was walking by and I was like, 'That’s Ron Howard.' Then my friend who was with me said he [Howard] turned to someone and said 'I think I just saw Bryce,'" Chastain said. "We look so much alike."

"Afterwards he was like, 'You really look so much alike.' And I mean, obviously, I'm incredibly flattered, so it's great. Although something is wrong when people stop mistaking me for her. I'll be like, 'Gotta get it together.'"
"We do resemble one another," she continued. "I love it."
The two, who both appeared in the 2011 drama "The Help," really have had fun with the non-stop comparisons in the past.

A fan even made a funny video titled "JESSICA CHASTAIN: The Musical (Bryce Dallas Howard)" in 2015 that Howard made a dubsmash with.
Chastain shared Howard's hilarious video.
