Demi Lovato releases 'Dancing With The Devil…The Art of Starting Over,' new video

Demi Lovato, at the stroke of midnight Friday, released her highly anticipated tell-all album "Dancing with the Devil ... The Art of Starting Over."

The 19-track record features previously released tracks, "Anyone" and "Dancing With The Devil," as well as collaborations with Ariana Grande on "Met Him Last Night," Noah Cyrus on "Easy," Saweetie on "My Girlfriends Are My Boyfriend" and Sam Fischer on "What Other People Say."

With the album's release, which Lovato tweeted was a "journey years in the making," she instructed fans to "Please listen to the tracks in order, top to bottom, for me."

Lovato unravels her experiences through tracks like "Lonely People" and "California Sober," before ending with "Good Place."

"Let me take you on a journey," she says on the album, "one that sheds the skin of my past and embodies the person I am today."

Also at midnight, alongside the "Confident" singer's seventh studio album drop, she unveiled the visuals for the lead single "Dancing With the Devil." The music video, which she co-directed, is a reenactment of the night she suffered a near-fatal drug overdose in 2018.

It opens with Lovato laying in a hospital bed, hooked up to wires. In between cuts of her singing from the bed, moments from that fateful night play out, starting with a scene of her downing shots and drinks at a bar.

The video ends with the 28-year-old singer unveiling a neck tattoo that reads "survivor" as she walks away from the hospital bed.
