Singer, actress, author, philanthropist, Marie Osmond does it all. And her incredible career started when she was 3.
"I never thought I'd be working my entire life," Osmond told ABC News. "I have never taken a year off."
"There were a lot of things at play. I was planning on being retired in my twenties and being married and having a family. But we lost everything financially. So it seems like God never wanted me to stop. And then work became my safe place," she continued.
Osmond is set to end her Las Vegas residency this November after 11 years on stage with brother Donny. She said the experience has been great.
"Honestly, I just feel like it's God being good," Osmond said in an appearance on "Popcorn with Peter Travers," she said. "Because I know so many talented people and I've just been blessed. I really feel like I'm a very blessed person."

Osmond said she was initially a very shy person. But that has clearly changed.
"Life just kind of puts you out there," Osmond, 59, told Travers. "I think through all of those insecurities, you learn lessons along the way. And the things that are difficult make you stronger if you let them, instead of letting them beat you down. I'm not afraid to work. I'm not afraid to try something new. I'm not afraid to fail."
Osmonds is now taking on the role of a daytime talk show host, replacing Sara Gilbert on "The Talk."
"It's been an interesting life," she said.
