Halloween 2019: Celebs from Kim Kardashian to Adele are slaying with creative costumes

Celebrities got their spook on, Hollyweird style, this Halloween.

To celebrate fall's most haunted holiday, some of the biggest names in the industry donned daring outfits, dripping with blood and gore, while others paid homage to icons.

From Kim Kardashian's "Legally Blonde" to Kevin Hart's hilarious Dwayne Johnson costume, you don't want to miss these looks.

Kim Kardashian

What, like Halloween is hard? Kim Kardashian is teaching a masterclass in Halloween with her amazing recreation of Elle Woods' Harvard video essay from "Legally Blonde."

Her costume even earned Reese Witherspoon's stamp of approval.

"Elle Woods forever! 💞💞💞" the actress replied to Kardashian's tweet.

Jennifer Garner

Garner fans might remember the actress' commencement speech back in May at Denison University, in which she shared some wise words -- and Halloween tips -- for graduates.

"When it comes to Halloween costumes, go funny over sexy," she said. "Why would you dress like a flirty nurse when you could be a mailbox?"

Well, she stayed true to her word.

Miley Cyrus

The singer and her boyfriend Cody Simpson channeled former couple Billy Idol and Perri Lister.

Cardi B

The singer turned heads with her daring Poison Ivy costume, but it was really her red wig that stole the show.

Adele

The notoriously private singer went with a Captain Hook-inspired costume to celebrate.

Gigi Hadid

The model dressed as Jim Carrey's famous character from the 1994 film "The Mask."

Lupita Nyong'o

Lupita Nyong'o suited up as her terrifying character "Red" from Jordan Peele's horror film "Us." Suffice to say, the visitors who Nyong'o surprised in costume at Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights last night might never be watching that film -- or any horror film -- ever again.

Kevin Hart

After his near-fatal car crash, Kevin Hart is back and didn't miss a beat this Halloween. Hart dressed up as his friend Dwayne Johnson from the wrestler-turned-actor's now infamous and meme-worthy headshot.

Nicki Minaj

Nicki Minaj and her new husband, Kenneth Petty, celebrated the haunted holiday, or "HalloQueen," as Minaj wrote on Instagram, with two different horror movie-inspired looks.

First, the newlyweds dressed as Harley Quinn and the Joker. Next, they paid homage to cinema's most evil doll couple by dressing as the Bride of Chucky and Chucky.

Ciara and Russell Wilson

Ciara and husband Russell Wilson recreated an iconic scene from Beyonce and Jay-Z's 2018 music video. In the same spirit, the couple's children also dressed up as another one of music's legendary families -- the Jacksons -- earning the approval of Janet Jackson herself.

Jameela Jamil

The activist and "Good Place" actress dressed up as a nun along with some friends at a Halloween costume party.

Demi Lovato

The singer graced us with not one but two gorgeous costumes this weekend. First, we almost lost our heads at her Marie Antoinette-inspired look, and then we lost our minds at her transformation into Pennywise the clown from "It."

Tracee Ellis Ross and the "Black-ish" cast

Ross and her cast family dressed up as the "Tethered" from Jordan Peele's hit horror movie "Us." This creepy costume has been dominating the pop culture-inspired Halloween scene this year.

Ashley Graham

The model stunned in a skin-tight red latex dress as Jessica Rabbit. Graham, who announced her pregnancy in August, showed off her growing bump and vamped for the camera, doing her impression of the cartoon character's classic line, "I'm not bad. I'm just drawn that way."

Kate Beckinsale

The internet did a double take when Beckinsale, dressed as Holly Golightly from "Breakfast at Tiffany's," strutted down the aisle of a grocery store on Instagram.

Nina Dobrev

You didn't know she was the bad guy? Dobrev killed at the Casamigos Halloween party with her Billie Eilish costume. If that wasn't enough, she later posted a picture dressed as Marie S'Infiltre, the French comedian and Youtuber who crashed the Chanel runway in September. Dobrev hilariously reenacted the incident with a friend dressed as Gigi Hadid, who escorted the comedian crasher off the stage.

Lisa Rinna

It's two queens colliding. The "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star paid homage to Jennifer Lopez's iconic green dress from the 2000 Grammys. Suffice to say, the internet is flipping.

Missy Elliott

Elliott transported us back in time for her Halloween costume as she recreated her first album, "Supa Dupa Fly," from over 22 years ago. Honestly, we can't tell the difference.

Cardi B

The rapper and songwriter went old school with her red-and-white nurse costume this year.

Gabrielle Union-Wade

Here comes the nostalgia because Union-Wade brought back her beloved "Bring It On" character to celebrate Halloween. The actress, whose birthday is Oct. 29, twinned with her 11-month-old daughter Kaavia, who also dressed up as the classic cheerleader.

Stormi Webster

Kylie Jenner posted two photos of her daughter Stormi sporting the same look Jenner wore to the Met Gala last May.

Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake

Jessica Biel dressed up as husband Justin Timberlake for Halloween, and social media can't handle it. After an old video emerged of Biel admitting she was "not a huge fan" of NSYNC, the actress used her Halloween costume to make it up to him. Keeping with the theme, Timberlake complemented his wife's costume by dressing up as a microphone.

Kourtney Kardashian

Although Kardashian captioned her Instagram photo showing off her Ariana Grande costume with "No tears left to cry," we guarantee you we only shed happy tears when seeing the star's uncanny likeness to the powerhouse singer.

Halsey

With one of the spookiest costumes on our list, Halsey killed Halloween with her Marilyn Manson costume.
