Katy Perry delivered a stripped-down version of "Only Love" in her first performance since becoming a mom and giving birth to her daughter, Daisy Dove.

The pop star performed the song from her album "Smile" at the 2020 American Music Awards, which aired Sunday night on ABC, alongside former Hootie & the Blowfish frontman and country crooner Darius Rucker.

Ahead of the awards show, Perry took to Instagram to reveal the number was a tribute to her dad, writing "tonight's @amas performance is for my father" alongside a throwback photo of him holding her as a baby.

"Went back to church, met a new friend @dariusrucker and found #OnlyLove," the 36-year-old also wrote in anticipation of the performance, calling herself Katheryn.

Perry gave birth to Daisy, her first child with fiancé Orlando Bloom, back in August, having revealed her pregnancy in March via a music video.
