As it spends a fourth week at No. 1, Lizzo's "Truth Hurts" has just set a new record on the Billboard Hot 100 -- and nobody is happier than the Lizzo of the past.

On Instagram, Lizzo posted a photo of herself at age nine, and edited the photo to show herself holding up a Billboard chart displaying "Truth Hurts" at number one.

"Truth Hurts is officially the longest solo female rap #1 in history," she captioned the image. "I fell in love with music when I was 9 years old...I know it’s cliche but music was literally my boyfriend. I had no idea our love affair would take me this far."

Referencing the photo of herself as a girl, the 31-year-old star continued, "If this lil Lizzo only knew all that she would accomplish when she picked up that flute, or wrote songs in her room, or forced her friends to make girlbands."

"It’s just so humbling to know it was all worth it," she concluded. "Don’t run away from what your heart wants."

"Truth Hurts" has now surpassed Cardi B's "Bodak Yellow" as the longest-running number one by a solo female rapper.

Iggy Azalea's hit "Fancy" spent seven weeks at No. 1 in 2014, but that wasn't a solo record -- Charlie XCX was featured on it.
