Macaulay Culkin responds to 'Home Alone' reboot

WATCH: Disney will reboot 'Home Alone'

After there were reports earlier this week that Disney has plans to reboot some classic films and shows for Disney+, one iconic star has responded.

Disney CEO Bob Iger announced Tuesday during the company's financial quarterly investors conference call that it will create "re-imagined versions" of hits like "Home Alone."

So Macaulay Culkin, who starred in the original set of films dating back to 1990, decided to share a funny tweet.

"This is what an updated Home Alone would actually look like," he wrote.

In the pic, there's an older Culkin eating dinner, on his computer and rubbing his growing belly.

He then followed up with another tweet that read, "Hey @Disney, call me!"

So far, no details on the new cast or how the reboots will come about.

In the original classic, Culkin played Kevin, a boy who wished his family away, then got what he wanted when they left him behind during a vacation.

While home alone, Kevin had to fight off two burglars, played by Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern. Hilarity ensues.

There was a couple "Home Alone" sequels, including the second film set in New York City.

"Keep the change you filthy animal!"
