Now, the Academy Award-winning actor is out with a new PSA, called "It's About Us," which he co-created and co-produced with Roy Spence. The message of the PSA is for all Americans to reject the politics of "us versus them" and unify as one because we are all in this together.

"I felt that myself, my family, and the country needed a motivational reminder that America is much stronger together rather than divided by partisan politics," McConaughey said in a statement. "The war with this disease is not a political one, it's a human one. The virus doesn't differentiate between political parties, between Us and Them, it is a threat to people from every segment of our population. During this time of chaos and uncertainty, we all need to be driven by a purpose that unites us, not a politics that divide us."
