Miley Cyrus to perform exclusively for health care workers at Super Bowl LV pre-show

The Weeknd won't be the only musical artist bringing star power to Super Bowl LV.

It was announced over the weekend that Miley Cyrus will perform exclusively for 7,500 "health care heroes" that the NFL personally invited to watch the Tampa Bay Buccaneers face the Kansas City Chiefs on Feb. 7. in Tampa, Florida.

Local and national health care employees who worked the front line during the COVID-19 pandemic and are also fully inoculated against the infectious virus will enjoy the NFL's first-ever TikTok Tailgate pre-show.

The 28-year-old "Midnight Sky" singer excitedly announced the special performance on Sunday by sharing a mock up of her performance poster and writing, "I’ll be there for TIKTOK TAILGATE!!! I can’t wait to put on a show for the NFL’s honored guests before the game... Health care workers from Tampa and around the country!"

The NFL further announced via its official Instagram page, "@mileycyrus will be at Super Bowl LV to perform at the first-ever #TikTokTailgate – the NFL’s pregame event for the 7,500 vaccinated health care heroes who have been invited to attend #SBLV."

The tailgate party airs Sunday, Feb. 7, beginning at 2:30 pm ET.

Those unable to personally attend will be able to catch Cyrus' performance live on the TikTok app and on CBS.
