In addition to daughter Karsen, Liotta left behind fiancee Jacy Nittolo.

Liotta explained in an interview on "Live with Kelly and Ryan" in 2021 that it was his daughter who first introduced him to Nittolo.

Liotta said Karsen was friends with Nittolo's son Chazz, and after meeting Nittolo said she thought the two would hit it off.

The couple announced their engagement in December of 2020.

"Ray and I share a deep love that I will cherish in my heart forever," Nittolo wrote in an Instagram post on May 28, days after Liotta's death. "... He was everything in the world to me and we couldn’t get enough of each other. The kind of real love that one dreams of."

"He was the most beautiful person inside and out that I’ve ever known…and even that is an understatement," she added.
