Rihanna owns the red carpet at her star-studded Diamond Ball

Rihanna took over the red carpet at her 5th Annual Diamond Ball on Thursday night in New York City.

The event was held to benefit the singer's Clara Lionel Foundation, which provides aid and support to children around the world in need of education and emergency relief assistance.

The night was a star-studded spectacle, with names like Cardi B, Normani, Pharrell and Megan Thee Stallion in attendance.

The woman of the hour, Rihanna, stunned in a Givenchy couture gown.

Cardi B also made a style statement in a pink organza dress from designer Georges Hobeika's Couture FW19/20 collection.

Normani also turned heads on the carpet in a gown by J'Aton Couture.

DJ Khaled and Pharrell Williams took the stage at the event, delivering notable performances.

Rihanna reportedly performed her 2017 collaboration with Williams, "Lemon," alongside him onstage.

She said she plans to continue growing the event.

"I just want to expand this every year to a different cause because I don't feel like people deserve to be left out, and that's really the core of the foundation," she told AP Entertainment.
