Rita Wilson recently shared a teaser from her upcoming guest appearance on "1883."
Alongside a behind-the-scenes snap with series star Faith Hill, Wilson confirmed her role on the "Yellowstone" prequel.
"The secret is out — I’ll be joining my friends @faithhill and @thetimmcgraw on the show @1883official this season!" she wrote, also encouraging fans to tune in on Sundays for new episodes.

She will reportedly play Carolyn, "a storekeeper at Doan’s Crossing who helps Margaret (Faith Hill) decompress with some whiskey punch," according to Variety.
Wilson's husband, actor Tom Hanks, also made a guest appearance in the buzzworthy prequel. He appeared as a general named George Meade in the second episode.
Tim McGraw, who stars opposite his real-life wife, Hill, as her on-screen husband James Dutton on "1883," said he specifically requested a cameo from Hanks during the season.
