Russo Brothers send James Cameron heartfelt note as 'Avengers: Endgame' beats 'Avatar' at box office

After "Avengers: Endgame" beat "Avatar" to become the biggest movie of all time, the Russo Brothers sent a heartfelt note to their icon and hero, James Cameron.

"To @JimCameron - you're a monumental reason why we fell in love with film in the first place," they tweeted. "Thank you for always inspiring us and opening the world’s eyes to what’s possible. We can’t wait to see where you take us next..."

This notes comes after the directing duo had sent an open note to fans when "Avengers" hit that box office milestone.

"To the greatest fans in the universe, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you..." they wrote.

And of course, Cameron, ever the gentleman, sent the directors a note, congratulating them on being the new "box-office king."
