First Look at Season 6 of 'Scandal'

"Scandal" fans can finally get a first look at the new season of the ABC drama.

The world premiere trailer for Season 6 was released today, and from the looks of it, there will be plenty of action right from the start.

There's an election underway, and the clip shows Mellie threatening to quit her run for president.

"I am done running for president," Mellie shrieks at Olivia Pope, played by star Kerry Washington. "Well, I’m not," Olivia snaps back.

There's also a tense moment between Fitz and Olivia.

"What if you’re wrong?" Fitz asks Olivia, to which she responds, "I won’t be wrong!"

"Scandal" returns Jan. 19, and with it the entire "TGIT" lineup, with new episodes of "Grey’s Anatomy" and "How to Get Away with Murder."
