WATCH: National headlines from ABC News

Andrea Bocelli will deliver an "intimate and unique" Christmas performance from the Frasassi Caves in Italy on Friday.

The world-renowned Italian opera singer's "Silent Night: A Christmas Prayer" concert will be livestreamed on Facebook at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT.

In a post promoting the performance, the singer said, "I’ll see you today, in just a few hours, to exchange season’s greetings and to share a spirit of hope and a moment of beauty in a scenario that is both of this world and not: a complete, spectacular work of art that would make even the most hardened skeptics think, because every masterpiece is the work of a great Creator."

"In Frasassi, in a space which is by its very nature a metaphor for each of our souls, I like the idea of meeting you and sharing with you the gift I was given — my voice — in the hopes of bringing a smile to your Christmas," his message continued.

The upcoming performance is Bocelli's second of the holiday season. He delivered a virtual "Believe in Christmas” concert on Dec. 12 at the Teatro Regio di Parma opera house in Italy. During the ticketed show, he performed songs from his latest studio album, "Believe," which came out Nov. 13.
