Krispy Kreme has concocted a sweet, dark cocoa and cream flavor to add to its doughnut case.
The company announced its first collaboration with America's favorite cookie to create an Oreo Cookie Glaze and two new doughnuts, available starting Monday.
The two iconic brands combined their sweet fan favorite treats to make a glaze that is made with real Oreo cookie pieces and will take over the glaze waterfall for a limited time.
For the two new doughnuts, first is an Oreo cookie-glazed doughnut -- the original Krispy Kreme doughnut topped with an Oreo cookie glaze, filled with cookies and cream and finished with an icing drizzle and Oreo cookie pieces. The second doughnut, dubbed the "Oreo Cookie Over-The-Top," is the Oreo cookie-glazed doughnut topped with the cookies and cream filling, drizzled with chocolate icing and finished with an Oreo cookie wafer.
If a sweet craving strikes in something other than doughnut form, Krispy Kreme also created a new Oreo Mocha Chiller: a frozen espresso-based beverage blended with Oreo pieces and topped with whipped cream and Oreo crumbs.
The specialty treats will be available for a limited time from April 5 through April 18.
