Super Bowl Weekend Shopping Deals, Discounts and Coupon Codes

As the Super Bowl approaches and cabin fever is in full swing, a little shopping and some good deals are advisable for the weekend.

Historically, Black Friday in November offers the best limited quantity doorbuster TV deals, but the best overall are usually found in late January, with special sales right before the Super Bowl in early February.

This year offers some good budget HDTV model deals from Walmart and Target.

Kitchen and Home

The hallmark of a Martha Stewart-esque kitchen is a freestanding mixer and the KitchensAid model in a multitude of colors is the Cadillac of these appliances. Right now, a rare deal from Amazon plus a manufacturer rebate take the red model of the mixer down to $204 (normally $300). Other colors are $10 to $40 more, but it's still a pretty good deal.
