Lululemon has launched a new limited-edition line of loungewear centered around a huge DIY trend many of us can't get enough of: tie-dye.
The athletic brand's latest Earth Dye collection features a mashup of everything from soft hoodies to comfy joggers that have been created using earth-friendly dyes.
Each piece is available in easy-to-wear hues inspired by nature. The lower-impact dyes used have been upcycled from the plant waste of oranges, beets and saw palmetto trees.
“Lululemon is actively working to help create a healthier future, and we are focused on meeting the goals detailed in our Impact Agenda, including making 100 percent of our products with sustainable materials and end-of-use solutions by 2030," Lululemon CEO Calvin McDonald said in a statement.
He continued, “Our lululemon Like New and Earth Dye initiatives are both meaningful steps towards a circular ecosystem and demonstrate the sustainable innovation underway in product development and retail.”
Another unique aspect surrounding the collection is that every piece is unique as the tie-dye effect produces a slightly different result each time.
