— -- With just six months to go until fans get to see "Avengers: Infinity War" in theaters, the first official trailer will be released Wednesday on "Good Morning America."

Up to this point, fans at Comic-Con have been teased with a little footage from the all-inclusive Marvel Universe film (not released online) and there have been a few renderings shared as well.

In the teaser shared on social media, you see fans freaking out in anticipation of this big first clip, while it's made clear that "everything you've experienced, everything you've imagined, it has all been leading to this moment."

The trailer teaser comes a day after Vanity Fair's big cover story on the Marvel Universe, speaking to studio head Kevin Feige.

Up to this point, Marvel Studios has released 17 films, with five more coming in the next couple of years. "Infinity War" is poised to feature all of the stars fans have grown to love over the last decade, including Iron Man, Captain America, Spider-Man and more.

But in the interview, Feige looked past "Infinity War" and into 2019's "Avengers 4," teasing big changes as your favorite heroes face off against Thanos, the most powerful villain in all the land.

It will “bring things you’ve never seen in superhero films: a finale. ... There will be two distinct periods. Everything before 'Avengers 4' and everything after. I know it will not be in ways people are expecting."

The actors themselves know a lot of changes are coming, including possible deaths.

“I feel a lot of joy for the next generation,” said Scarlett Johansson, who plays Black Widow. “It’s a bittersweet feeling, but a positive one.”

But before we get ahead of ourselves, "Avengers: Infinity War" hits theaters on May 4, 2018. Then the next "Avengers" the following year!

ABC News and Marvel are both owned by parent company Disney.
