Superstar singer Adam Lambert is a proud member of the queer community and said that the best way to celebrate Pride this year is to be "loud and proud."

"I think the thing to keep in mind is make a friend, be safe, and celebrate loud and proud," Lambert said ahead of the weekend of festivities.

"The queer community has come so far in the past 50 years and I am a proud, proud member," he said.

"The most important things to remember this year for Pride here in New York and all around the world, [are] visibility is key, acceptance, inclusion," Lambert said.
