Bindi Irwin Opens Up About Dating

— -- Steve Irwin's daughter Bindi recently revealed she's dating "someone special."

"There is someone special in my life right now, and I'm really happy with that," she told Entertainment Tonight.

The 16-year-old daughter of the late, beloved "Crocodile Hunter," added that her life is wonderful right now. She didn't say who she was dating.

She did say what she looks for in a guy.

"He would have to be very kind and loyal," she said. "You've gotta love the outdoors and have that same passion for making the world a better place."

Irwin, who turns 17 later this week and lost her father in 2006, said her dad "always said, 'You can't date 'till you're 40, and he has to be able to swim across our largest crocodile pond before he can go out with you.'"

Irwin added that she's all about making her parents proud.

"Mom and Dad are truly my heroes," she added. "And I have to say, so is my little brother Robert. He's 11 and he's just the most amazing boy. He's so much like Dad sometimes it's a bit scary. Dad is and always will be my living, breathing superhero."
