Bindi Irwin shares video of her latest ultrasound: 'I can’t wait for her to be here next year'
Bindi Irwin shared another special moment with her social media followers on Thursday.
The 22-year-old wildlife conservationist, who announced in August that she is expecting her first child with her husband, Chandler Powell, posted a video on Instagram from her latest ultrasound.
"Our beautiful daughter is the light of our lives," she wrote in the caption. "Beyond thankful that she chose us to be her parents. I can’t wait for her to be here next year."
Irwin tells Powell in the video, "This is so exciting. Look at our daughter -- she's so beautiful."
"Wow, you can see her heartbeat there," Powell responds. "Oh my goodness, she is beautiful."
The couple's "Baby Wildlife Warrior," as Irwin wrote in her pregnancy announcement, is due in 2021. They revealed they are having a girl in a series of posts in September.
Irwin is now 22 weeks pregnant. She shared a message with her followers on Nov. 11 to celebrate hitting the 20-week mark.
"The love I have for my sweetheart husband and our beautiful daughter is boundless," she said.
"We are halfway to meeting her," Powell wrote in a separate post. "Can’t wait to be a dad!"
