Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton will release their fourth musical collaboration, "Happy Anywhere," on Friday, and the title seems to describe the couple's current state.

In the new issue of People magazine, Shelton couldn't help but gush about his girlfriend and their relationship.

According to the country singer, he and Stefani have been quarantined for months -- with Stefani's three sons -- at his Oklahoma ranch. They will return to Los Angeles soon to shoot "The Voice," the magazine reported.

"The simple pleasure of being together in one place for an extended period of time has been a real gift," Shelton said. "We cook, we clean, we ride four-wheelers and we just enjoy being with each other and with family."

He added that the video for "Happy Anywhere," which was shot at the ranch, is a pretty good representation of how the group has spent their time.

"There was a camera shooting the things we do everyday," the country singer said. "We make biscuits, we fish, we sing together, spend time with family... just a day in the life."

Shelton, 44, and Stefani, 50, began dating in late 2015, after they split from their respective spouses. Shelton was previously married to fellow country star Miranda Lambert, while Stefani was married to rocker Gavin Rossdale, with whom she shares her three children.

"An Okie boy and a California girl look on paper like an unlikely match, but what matters is she's a great human being," he gushed. "She's the most understanding, kindhearted person I've ever met. I learn something from her every day."

"Happy Anywhere" was recorded before the duo's previous number-one country hit, "Nobody but You." However, Shelton explained, "We were waiting for the right time to release it and I knew that time was now... there's no better time to be happy anywhere with the person or people you love."
