Bon Jovi’s story will be explored in docuseries, 'Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story'

A new docuseries will revisit the history behind the legendary rock band, Bon Jovi.

On Monday, Hulu announced that Bon Jovi’s story will be told in a new docuseries titled, "Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story," which has been acquired by the streaming platform.

All past and present members of the band provided their full cooperation for the four-part series, which will give fans a behind-the-scenes look at the band’s 40-year history and its frontman, Jon Bon Jovi.

The docuseries, which will be directed by Gotham Chopra, will also feature personal videos, early unreleased demos, never-before-seen photos and more.

According to a press release for the series, "Thank You, Goodnight" will also relive the band’s "triumphs and setbacks, greatest hits, biggest disappointments and most public moments of friction."

Jon Bon Jovi, guitarist Richie Sambora, keyboardist David Bryan, bassist Alec John Such and drummer Tico Torres came together in 1983 to form Bon Jovi. They released their album, "Bon Jovi," in 1984, which included their first hit single, "Runaway."

The albums, "7800° Fahrenheit" and "Slippery When Wet" followed, which included their signature song, "Livin’ on a Prayer," as well as "You Give Love a Bad Name."

Over the years, the band has released 15 studio albums and were also inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018. Alec John Such, who died in 2022, left the band in 1994. Richie Sambora also left the band in 2013.

Current members of the band include Jon Bon Jovi, David Bryan, Tico Torres, Hugh McDonald and Phil X.

"Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story" debuts Friday, April 26, on Hulu.
