Britney Spears has spent a lot of time out of the spotlight dealing with family issues and personal matters in recent months.

The 37-year-old singer and mother-of-two is now opening up a little about her emotional state. She recently shared a post on Instagram on her experience living in Los Angeles.

Alongside a quote card with the phrase, "Pay close attention to the people who don't clap when you win," Spears added a note on her own experience.

"It breaks my heart to see the comments on my posts sometimes .... so I simply choose not to look anymore," she added. "Let the clever haters do what they do best .... hate!!!"

The singer's post was flooded with supportive comments, many from users suggesting she shouldn't pay any attention to the hate.

Spears' boyfriend, Sam Asghari, commented, "Winners don’t hate or bully, losers (haters) only do because they don’t have what you have (which is the best heart in the world)."

Spears seems to be enjoying some private time with her family as of late. She recently shared a snap with her sons Sean, 13, and Jaden, 12, during a trip to Disneyland in Anaheim, California.
