Congratulations are in order for actress Stephanie Beatriz, who announced Wednesday that she is expecting her first child with husband Brad Hoss.

The "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" star, 40, revealed the happy news on Instagram, sharing a photo of her cradling her baby bump while leaning against Hoss.

"Mom and Dad (for real tho)," she gushed in the caption. "PEOPLE’s Pride Issue is on newsstands nationwide Friday!! In it, we talk about our expanding and chosen family."

The happy couple gushed about becoming first-time parents with People, with Beatriz revealing what values she intends to instill in her child.

"I think one of the best things you can do is raise a kid who understands that however a person chooses to shape their one glorious life is worthy of celebration," she explained.

Beatriz, who is openly bisexual, also discussed how she didn't originally see herself settling down or starting a family.

"I didn't think that a committed partnership was really for me," the upcoming "In The Heights" star said. "I couldn't really see kids. It wasn't that I was closed off to it. It was more that I couldn't quite see how a baby fit into the life that I was building."

Although Beatriz married a man, she insisted it doesn't make her "any less queer."

"I was able to be my fullest, most authentic self around Brad. He's extremely empathetic and open," she said of her husband, whom she married in 2018.
