Chrissy Teigen attempted to mark the holidays with a festive family photo but her littlest one had other plans.

On Saturday, Teigen shared with her 13.5 million Twitter followers that she has trouble snapping the perfect holiday portrait.

"Family shoot went...right as I thought it would, actually," Teigen remarked and posted a hilarious outtake of the recent photo session.

The snap zooms in on her 2-year-old son, Miles.

He is staring straight into the camera, showing off his tear-streaked face as he is photographed trying to crawl out of his mother's arms.

Of course, adding insult to injury for Teigen, as soon as the photo shoot was done, Miles suddenly became cooperative and finally posed for the perfect photo.

Teigen groaned in a follow-up tweet, "Then this happened!!! On my PHONE of course," sharing a picture-perfect moment of a dapper-looking Miles -- dressed in his holiday outfit -- calmly leaning against the family sofa.

Other mothers of young kids were quick to commiserate with Teigen and share stories of their respective family photo fails.

One such mom admitted that one of her three young kids dramatically cried throughout the brief photo session, which made for a rather awkward Christmas card one year.

"Kids don’t care that you’ve spent actual money for these pictures...," another fan said, sharing photos of her two children throwing tantrums during her respective shoot.
