Chrissy Teigen was overwhelmed by her 4-year-old daughter's sweet gestures when baby Jack's ashes came home.

Luna honored her little brother by placing a teddy bear next to the box containing his ashes and sharing her favorite snack with him -- gestures that gave Teigen a reason to smile.

"This is the cutest, most beautiful thing I have ever seen," the "Cravings" author emotionally revealed Monday on Instagram as she gently caressed the little white box. "We just got baby Jack's ashes back, so they're in here for now with some blessed holy tie string."

"Luna put a little therapy bear around him," Teigen softly continued, explaining with a small laugh that she watched as Luna "gave him a piece of her favorite snack. A tiny piece of Pirate's Booty."

"She's amazing," the "Bring the Funny" host sighed.

A second video showed the Luna happily introducing herself and her therapy bear to Jack's ashes before asking, "How are you doing today?"

Teigen made note of how her daughter's actions are helping her emotionally recover from the devastating loss, as she explained in the caption, "I know this is a weird post but I just wanted to share these to always remember my incredibly empathetic little mini. Life is infinitely better with her in it."

The 34-year-old model also conveyed to fans that she and husband John Legend don't shy away from difficult conversations with their daughter and son, Miles, asserting, "Our house is very open about life, death, grief, everything really. We try to explain things well and answer every question imaginable in a beautiful, spiritual but literal way."

Teigen, who was 20 weeks along when she lost her pregnancy on Sept. 30, added that her mind is always thinking of Jack and that his family misses him "a lot."
