Apparently not content with being one of the biggest bands on Earth, Coldplay is venturing into outer space.

The rock band premiered its much-anticipated new single, "Higher Power," Thursday evening with a video that aired aboard the International Space Station.

The band spoke to ESA astronaut Thomas Pesquet, who is on board the spacecraft, about life in orbit before Pesquet introduced the video.

"The song is about trying to find the astronaut in all of us, the person that can do amazing things," Chris Martin, the band's front man, said before the premiere.

The video is streaming now on YouTube.
