Whodunnit? It's anybody's guess in the new laugh-out-loud murder mystery, "Knives Out." Don Johnson is among the all-star cast caught up in the crime and he recently told ABC News, moviegoers should be prepared for fun.

"The interesting thing is within the first 10 minutes you see the actual murder," Johnson said. "And then you spend the next couple of hours having a blast watching these incredibly, beautifully, flawed people."

From left to right, Don Johnson, Jamie Lee, Chris Evans, K Callan, Ana de Armas, Christopher Plummer, Michael Shannon, Jaeden Lieberher, Riki Lindholm, Toni Collette and Katherine Langford appear on set of the 2019 movie, "Knives Out."

Johnson is joined on screen by Daniel Craig, Jamie Lee Curtis, Chris Evans, Christopher Plummer and Toni Collette among other acting greats. He said the actors got along so well, they never used their assigned trailers. Instead, they'd hang out in the basement of the mansion where they were filming.

"We would sit around and tell stories about the movies we'd done," Johnson said on "Popcorn with Peter Travers."

He added, "The extraordinary thing about this movie is, we didn't have a table read. We didn't rehearse. We just showed up on the first day. We kind of brought that sense of joy and in the moment-ness to 'Knives Out.' And I think that's what you feel, that joy and that fun kind of ride is what you feel when you watch it."

Johnson said he got a kick out of playing his character, Morris Bristow.

"He's the personification of entitled because he lives off of his wife and the family. I sort of played him like one of those country club guys that’s sort of walking around with half a buzz on," he said.
