The first look at "Little Fires Everywhere" has arrived!

Based on the 2017 bestseller by author Celeste Ng, "Little Fires Everywhere" stars Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington as two mothers whose families find themselves inextricably linked.

The series, which also features Joshua Jackson, Jesse Williams and Rosemarie DeWitt, premieres on Hulu March 18.

According to Witherspoon, an executive producer on the project, "Little Fires Everywhere" was the perfect opportunity for her to work with Washington.

"She deepens the conversation, and I knew I wanted to go on this journey with her," she said at the 2020 Television Critics Association press conference on Friday, according to Entertainment Weekly. "It just made sense that we were representing completely different kinds of women and different kinds of mothering but both with dignity and respect."

"Adding the layer of race to that really enriches the storytelling," Washington added. "The book also deals with race and does a great job of stepping away from the binary idea of race."
