Frankie Grande announces engagement to boyfriend Hale Leon
A few weeks after sister Ariana Grande secretly married Dalton Gomez, her big brother revealed it's now his turn to walk down the aisle.
Frankie Grande announced Instagram late Tuesday that he and boyfriend Hale Leon are engaged.
The "Big Brother" alum, 38, took to Instagram to celebrate with a series of Stories. He revealed he proposed via virtual reality, and the two celebrated with their family and closest friends.
"It was such a perfect, beautiful moment," Grande told People. "Hale was completely surprised and we both started crying tears of joy."
Grande had worked with Dreamscape, an immersive VR experience venue in Los Angeles where the couple shared one of their first dates, to create a unique end to their play-through that would read "Will you marry me?" Leon, 28, said yes.
Ariana Grande took to her Instagram Stories to send her well wishes to her brother and his future husband.
"I love you both so much," she wrote alongside a photo of what appears to be a cake featuring the happy couple. "Congratulations to two of the most incredible men I know."
"I am so so beyond happy you were there to celebrate with us!" Frankie Grande replied via his Instagram Stories. "Thank you for being the greatest and for all our long talks and for giving me the strength and support to take this next step in my relationship. Thank you for being the best sister ever. I love u."
The Broadway star and Leon first met while line dancing at a bar in Los Angeles in 2019.
