Gabrielle Union Reveals the Sweet Way Dwyane Wade Proposed
Jan. 7, 2014 -- Gabrielle Union showed off her stunning engagement ring from Dwyane Wade last month, but the story behind it is even more amazing.
Turns out, the Miami Heat star wasn't the only one involved in the proposal: two of his sons and the nephew he's been raising also helped out.

"I was completely surprised. Him and the boys planned it completely, as a family," she told Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan today on "Live with Kelly and Michael." "We were just gonna spend the day together, having a little quality time, went to brunch, I'm clueless."
After brunch, Union explained that the whole group visited their home that's currently under construction, and while she and her NBA star beau were touring the upstairs portion, the boys called out to them they wanted to do a presentation.

"Me and D turn around and they're like, 'OK, now!' And they're holding signs that say, '... Will you marry us?'" But the thing is, they ask me all the time, so I was like, 'Oh, this is embarrassing! Now they've made signs!'" she said. "I turn to D like, 'Here we go!' and he's down on one knee."
After telling him 'of course,' she repeated her answer to the kids, who ran up to her.
And so began their new chapter as a family.
