Gwyneth Paltrow calls ex-husband Chris Martin a 'joy seeking, musical genius' in birthday post
Gwyneth Paltrow shared a sweet message to her ex-husband, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, for his 43rd birthday on Monday.
The 47-year-old award-winning actress and business mogul, who split from Martin in 2014 after 10 years of marriage and is now happily married to producer Brad Falchuk, showed that she still shares a great relationship with her ex through her kind message.
"Happy Birthday to this hilarious, joy seeking, musical genius who gave me that guy in the middle there (and apple, too). We đź’ťyou #cajm," she captioned her post, featuring a selfie with Martin and their 13-year-old son Moses.
The former couple also have a 15-year-old daughter, Apple.
Paltrow often shows off how well the family has blended together -- the whole crew, including her ex, Martin, even went on a "modern honeymoon" together after her wedding to Falchuk in 2018.
She also previously spoke to Evening Standard about the evolution of her relationship with Martin. "I think we’ve managed to really stay a family," she told the outlet, calling her ex, "a very close friend."
"I see him every day, I talk to him every day," she continued. "And it was very difficult, but I think you see in the children that they got through it, so I am proud of us, I really am. We kept to our commitment that we would put the children first."
