Actor Jeff Goldblum is bringing his quirky personality and snazzy style to the streaming world as the host of "The World According to Jeff Goldblum," on Disney+.

Goldblum, 67, has appeared in over 100 movies and TV shows from "Jurassic Park" to "Independence Day," and his latest title from NatGeo will explore a single broad topic in every episode.

"They are everyday items, familiar items that may hold some surprising extraordinary elements that we uncover," he explained on "Good Morning America."

The actor, who has become synonymous with stylish fashion choices, said his personal stylist Andrew Vottero dressed him "for every day of that show."

On top of his looks for the show, Vottero also outfitted Goldblum for his upcoming second jazz album with Decca Records.

"We took a picture in Frank Sinatra's house in Palm Springs and he figured out how I could look for that -- kinda rat pack-y," Goldblum said.

Half of the tracks on his latest LP "are vocals [and] half are instrumentals" and he also revealed that artists including Fiona Apple, Gregory Porter, Sharon Van Etten and Miley Cyrus all sing a song.

The boldly dressed performer explores the world and history of sneakers in the first episode of his self-titled series, which is available on Disney+ Tuesday.

Disney CEO Bob Iger told "Good Morning America" in April that the new streaming service "is a big deal" because for the first time all things Disney, including content from Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm and National Geographic, is all in one place.

A subscription costs $6.99 per month or $69.99 per year, and users will be able to download TV shows and movies, so that they can watch them even if they aren't connected to the internet.

For those looking to invest in more than just Disney+, there is also a $12.99 monthly bundle option that includes Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+, and Verizon customers can get a year subscription to the streaming service for free. If that's not enough, Disney is offering several deals to celebrate the launch of Disney+: Lyft users can snag a free ride using the promo code "DISNEYPLUS," and if you buy a select bouquet from Urban Stems, Disney+ will double the flowers.

Disney+ "is an extension for the company of what it has done for 96 years, which is tell great stories that entertain the world, people of all generations," Iger said. "Because the stories that we tell tend to touch people's hearts, they kind of live forever."
