— -- Singer/actress Jennifer Lopez and actress Leah Remini and their children were unhurt after an alleged drunk driver rear-ended the SUV in which they were traveling Saturday night in Malibu, police said.

Lopez's 6-year-old twins, Max and Emme, and Remini's 10-year-old daughter, Sofia, were also in the SUV, which belonged to Lopez but was being driven by Remini, police said.

Lopez, 45, took to Instagram to update her 5.6 million followers on the incident, posting a photo of herself and the "The King of Queens" actress sitting in the seat next to her. It wasn't clear whether the photo was taken before or after the accident.

Accompanying the picture Lopez wrote: "Sitting at a light, Riding high right before some drunk fool rear ended us in my new whip!!! Thank god everyone ok!!! #GRATEFUL #THANKYOUGOD #DontdrinkandDrive!!!! #cursedthatfoolout #theBronxcameout #dontmesswithmycocnuts #mamabear #leahstayedcalm #thatwasweird"

The other driver -- a man in a pick-up truck -- fled the scene before he could exchange information with the two women, police said.

The actresses called 911, and police apprehended the man a short distance from the scene and arrested him on suspicion of hit-and-run and driving under the influence.
