Josh Gad says 'Frozen 3' is the funniest of the 3 films: 'I'm laughing my butt off'
Actor Josh Gad is dishing on "Frozen 3."
"It's the funniest of the three movies I've ever recorded," Gad, who voices snowman Olaf in the Disney animated films, said in an interview Wednesday on "Good Morning America." "I'm laughing my butt off."
He added that Oscar-winning songwriters Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, who wrote "Let It Go" and "Into the Unknown" from the first and second "Frozen" films, respectively, also wrote the music for "Frozen 3," describing the music as "incredible."
"There's some unbelievable stuff, unbelievable developments," said Gad, who appeared on "GMA" to mark the 15th anniversary of the hit Broadway show "The Book of Mormon." (Gad originated the role of Elder Cunningham on Broadway and was nominated for a Tony.)

Former Disney CEO Bob Iger spoke about the upcoming "Frozen 3" in an interview with "GMA" co-anchor Michael Strahan in November 2023, adding at the time that "there might be a 'Frozen 4' in the works too."
It's unclear what "Frozen 3" will be about, but if it's anything like the first two films, it could include beloved characters like Elsa (Idina Menzel), Anna (Kristen Bell), Kristoff (Jonathan Groff) and more, in addition to Olaf.

The first "Frozen" film, which won the Oscar in 2014 for best animated feature film and best original song, for "Let It Go," followed Anna, the princess of Arendelle, as she teamed up with Kristoff and his loyal reindeer Sven on a journey to find Anna's sister Elsa, whose "icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter," a synopsis for the film states.
Both "Frozen" and its sequel, "Frozen II," crossed $1 billion at the global box office when they were released in 2013 and 2019, according to The Numbers, a film industry data website that tracks box office revenue.
"Frozen 3" is set to debut in 2027.
The Walt Disney Co. is the parent company of ABC News and "Good Morning America."
