Josh Lucas marries meteorologist Brianna Ruffalo at the Vatican
Josh Lucas and Brianna Ruffalo are officially married!
The couple exchanged vows at the Vatican, in what the "Sweet Home Alabama" actor called a "dream" wedding.
In an Instagram post on Saturday, he expressed his gratitude to everyone who helped bring the special day to life.
The post also features stunning photos of the newlyweds in the streets of the Vatican.
Ruffalo, an ABC7 Los Angeles meteorologist, wore a beautiful white lace dress with a matching veil, while Lucas looked dashing in a classic black suit.
In her own Instagram post announcing the wedding on Friday, Ruffalo shared a series of photos from the ceremony, including a sweet snap of the couple sharing a kiss inside the church.
Another shows them holding hands as they exit the church, cheered on by their guests.
"Mr. and Mrs. Incredibly blessed to receive this sacrament together inside the heart of the Catholic Church and holy city," Ruffalo wrote in the caption.
"I love you! Easily one of the greatest days of my life. I am so so grateful," Lucas commented in response.
Lucas announced his engagement to Ruffalo in June 2024 with an Instagram post showing Ruffalo overcome with emotion at a restaurant after he proposed.
"For the last 2 years in Every Way and Every Day this beautiful soul has made me and my life better, deeper, and more whole," he wrote in the caption at the time. "I am so grateful and thrilled she said 'Yes.' I WAY love you Brianna. & Thank You to our families and all the people and places that made this come true. I am absolutely aware I got crazy lucky."
Lucas was previously married to Jessica Ciencin Henriquez, with whom he shares a teenage son, Noah Rev.
