Kaley Cuoco Is 'in a Much Better Place' After 'Rough' Split From Ryan Sweeting

— -- Kaley Cuoco has a good feeling about 2016.

Or, to be more specific, she's pretty sure it'll top last year, when she and her husband split after more than a year of marriage.

Calling 2015 "very bizarre," the actress said she's much happier these days.

"We all go through really weird ups and downs ... [but] everyone goes through that stuff," she said in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres. "It's been rough, but things are good. I'm much, much better now. I'm in a much better place than I was."

Cuoco, 30, and Sweeting, 28, married in 2013 after just a few months of dating. After they announced their plans to divorce late last year, the "Big Bang Theory" star had one more big task to complete: covering up the tattoo she'd gotten of her wedding date.

"The tattoo was a mistake," she said, advising viewers never to get a tattoo of a wedding date. "[The numbers] were big, so then I had to cover it up with [a moth's] wings, which I think turned out OK."

She added: "The significance is it was big enough to cover the numbers."
