Kanye West Tops Time's List of 100 Most Influential People
— -- Time magazine has released its list of 100 most influential people, and topping the list is Kanye West, who is also on the cover.
Of course, as Tesla CEO Elon Musk points out in Time's cover story, West "would be the first person to tell you he belongs on this list."
"The dude doesn’t believe in false modesty, and he shouldn’t. Kanye’s belief in himself and his incredible tenacity -- he performed his first single with his jaw wired shut -- got him to where he is today. And he fought for his place in the cultural pantheon with a purpose," Musk wrote.
Other celebrities who made the list include Bradley Cooper, Taylor Swift, Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, Reese Witherspoon, Tim McGraw, Julianne Moore, Kevin Hart, Laverne Cox, Chris Pratt, Amy Schumer, Lee Daniels, Emma Watson and Julianna Margulies.
