Katy Perry marks daughter Daisy Dove's 1st birthday with sweet message
One year down, a lifetime to go! Katy Perry is celebrating her baby girl's first birthday.
Taking to Twitter on Thursday, the "American Idol" judge gushed, "1 year ago today is the day my life began… Happy first Birthday my Daisy Dove, my love [red heart emoji]."
Daisy is the first child for Perry and her fiancé, Orlando Bloom. Bloom also shares 10-year-old son Flynn with ex-wife Miranda Kerr.
While discussing their daughter during an Instagram live earlier this year, Perry said their little one "changed my life and still continues to change my life."
"I created space for her and, therefore, didn't have the extra time that I have had in the past 35 years," she added. "And so I had to create space and I'm glad I did."
She also expanded on a realization she had after becoming a mom.
"You just have to focus on being a mom and it's not because you don't love other people – you just want to be a great mom and a lot of stuff falls away when you become a mom," she shared.
