Kelly Rowland Reveals Her Baby's Gender: 'It's a Boy!'
— -- Kelly Rowland had been keeping her baby's gender a secret -- but she recently slipped up.
The singer accidentally announced that she and her husband and manager, Tim Witherspoon, are expecting a boy.
"We’re very excited," she told Fox News. "So far, everything has been good. I just feel like the baby is already [spoiled] rotten -- like, literally, my Caress [beauty line] family has gotten him all of his little bathing stuff, his toys. It’s just so cool."
After realizing her mistake, she confirmed that, yes, she's expecting a son and she asked her publicist to call her husband.

"Can you please tell him that I spilled the beans?!” she asked. "But yes, it’s very exciting."
Rowland, 33, a spokeswoman for Caress, said that she has already set up her baby's nursery -- "I wanted it to feel like a comfortable museum," she said -- and has enjoyed feeling him move when she plays hip-hop. She's also begun accepting parenting advice from friends, including Beyonce.
"One girlfriend told me to make sure that I do not forget about my husband. She’s like, ‘That’s how the baby got here,’" Rowland said. "The other one said that I should make sure that I don’t get obsessed with ‘mommy, mommy, mommy’ conversation. There’s a life outside of it, and you have to remember your life there, too. And just knowing my power as a woman, going into this whole birthing situation. People have done it for years."
