"Smile" singer Lily Allen marked a major milestone in her sobriety journey: She is officially 18 months sober.

The 35-year-old artist took to Instagram on Wednesday to celebrate her hard work and show off her newest sobriety chip.

"18 months clean and sober today. Would recommend," Allen wrote, sharing three makeup free selfies that showed off her healthy glow.

In the last slide, the Grammy nominee holds up a gray plastic keychain that reads "Clean & Serene for eighteen months" in holographic lettering.

The singer previously opened up about her extensive battle with addition last week on The Recovery podcast, where she revealed she first started drinking when she was sent to boarding school.

Allen said her low self esteem, which she said resulted from having absent parents, made her spiral out of control and led her to begin experimenting with drugs. "All I wanted was affirmation and praise," she recalled. "I got it from strangers, but I didn't really get it from the people I wanted it from."

Allen's addiction worsened when she burst into the spotlight following the release of her 2006 album "Alright, Still" because of the negative attention her talent and looks received online.

She said she hit rock bottom after touring with Miley Cyrus on her 2014 Bangerz Tour, where she cheated on then-husband Sam Cooper and caused her marriage to end. "I remember being in L.A. and thinking like, 'None of this acting out is working anymore. Maybe I should try heroin,'" she disclosed, adding that was when she knew she needed help.

Allen wed "Stranger Things" actor David Harbour last September, whom she said has been sober for 20 years.

While working on her sobriety, the British singer is also focusing on acceptance, embracing happiness and focusing on family.
