Episode 3 of "Loki" on Disney+ confirmed that the titular Asgardian trickster is the Marvel Cinematic Universe's first openly bisexual character.

During the June 23 episode, Loki (Tom Hiddleston) was in a conversation with Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino), the variant being hunted by the Time Variance Authority, when the two got personal while discussing love.

Sylvie asked, "How about you? You're a prince. Must've been would-be princesses or, perhaps, another prince."

Loki responded, "A bit of both. I suspect the same as you."

Kate Herron, the series' director, took to Twitter to express how much the moment meant to her personally.

"From the moment I joined @LokiOfficial it was very important to me, and my goal, to acknowledge Loki was bisexual," she wrote. "It is a part of who he is and who I am too. I know this is a small step but I’m happy, and heart is so full, to say that this is now Canon in #mcu."

Di Martino retweeted Herron's post and remarked on the scene's "beautiful lighting," alluding to how the hues of pink, lavender and blue represent the colors of the bisexual pride flag.

This comes just two weeks after it was previously revealed during Episode 1 of "Loki" that he is gender fluid. Loki's TVA intake papers listed the mischievous god's gender as "fluid."

New episodes of "Loki" are available to stream every Wednesday on Disney+.

Marvel is owned by Disney, the parent company of ABC News and "Good Morning America."
