Newly minted CMA entertainer of the year Luke Combs shared a new song titled "Doin' This" from the stage of the 2021 CMA Awards and fans didn’t have to wait to hear the studio version.

Directly after his performance, Combs dropped both the official track and its accompanying music video.

“Someone asked me once in an interview / ‘What was growing up like? Where’d you go to school?’ / ‘And what would you do if you weren’t doin’ this?’” Combs sings in the first verse of the song.

As the storyline continues, “Doin’ This” imagines Combs' life without stardom. He works a “dead-end job” to pay his bills and drives “an old, worn-out Dodge,” but through it all, he’s still a musician at heart, whether he’s playing to an empty room or a sold-out show. Even if he weren’t a famous country star, Combs' sings that he’d still be “doin’ this.”

The music video follows the life of a small-town guy who never made it big. At the end of the day, the man winds up sitting on his couch with his acoustic guitar and playing a show for two VIPS -- his wife and young daughter -- before Combs welcomes him out onto a big stage to perform with him.

Combs also announced Friday he'll be playing three headlining stadium tour dates in the summer of 2022, marking his first stadium run as a headliner. Those shows will take place at NFL stadiums in Denver, Seattle and Atlanta.

Joining Combs for the stadium shows will be opening acts Cody Johnson, Zach Bryan and Morgan Wade. Tickets go on sale to the general public next Friday, Nov. 19, and members of Luke’s Bootleggers fan club will have access to a special pre-sale that Wednesday, Nov. 17. Additionally, American Express card members will have early access on Thursday, Nov. 18.
