Macklemore announces 'Free Palestine' tour after Ed Sheeran controversy

Rapper Macklemore announced Thursday he is launching a "Free Palestine" tour after saying he had been dropped from Ed Sheeran's tour after making pro-Palestinian comments on stage.

"This is a moment of momentum, and there is work to be done. So we’re going on tour," Macklemore wrote in a message on social media.

The rapper, whose birth name is Ben Haggerty, said more tour details, including artists and dates, will be announced soon.
